    ROOF SUPPORT BRACKET Slip the roof support bracket down over the vent pipe. Rotate (TC36.9168) the 90° brackets to accommodate roof pitch. Attach the brackets to the roof joists with nails or building screws. Tighten the band around the vent pipe and secure in place with screws.

    VENT TERMINAL CLEARANCE Minimum clearances to the vent terminal must be maintained as shown in figures #21. Measure clearances to the nearest edge of termination hood. NOTE: Vent terminal must not be recessed into a wall or siding. NOTE: LOCAL CODES OR REGULATIONS MAY RE- QUIRE DIFFERENT CLEARANCES.

    VENT PIPE SEALANT (supplied with the appliance) All joints in the vent and air intake pipe must be sealed. Use Mil Pack Black sealant provided to seal the joint between the first section of vent pipe and the top of the fireplace and any other joint below the first Ceiling Firestop or the Horizontal Terminal Adapter.
