4.3.5. AC Side (Grid) Connections
The AC connection includes wiring from the AC distribution panel through one or more
circuit breakers to the AC terminal block of the inverter.
Verify that the AC grid specifications are compatible with the inverter characteristics before
connecting the inverter to the AC grid:
• Single phase/Split phase
• Voltage range (184 – 276 V)
• Frequency range (50 Hz ±5 Hz)
DANGER: Ensure that the AC terminals are discharged!
Turn OFF the AC circuit breaker(s) before connecting the inverter to the AC grid to
avoid shock hazards.
The THEIA HE-t series are single phase output inverters, which are designed so that they can
be connected to a three-phase system. When several inverters are connected together, they
must be distributed evenly between the grid phases.

• PE (Protective Earth/Ground) conductor is an electrical path to true Earth, designed to
carry fault currents caused by insulation breakdowns within the equipment.
• N (Neutral) conductor in a single phase system is a circuit conductor carrying the same
amount of current as the ungrounded phase conductor. In a three phase system it is an
equalization conductor, designed to have a similar voltage potential to each of the phase-
conductors.
• L1 / L2 / L3 (Phase) conductors are the ungrounded live conductors, which carry current
to the load.
