usIng yOur DesIgn sanDwIch PrO Before first use Before first use the sandwich maker should be preheated for ten minutes closed and the tempe- rature control set to the highest setting. This will remove the smell typically encountered when first switching on the sandwich maker. Please ensure sufficient ventilation. Clean the appliance afterwards as described in ›Care and cleaning‹. -

3. Your Design Sandwich Pro is now preheating. After approx. five minutes the green indicator light will be illuminated. The appliance is now ready for use. It is important that the heating plates are preheated and greased before the first use. After finishing the first sandwich no more greasing is necessary. -
