    • Is the dryer located in a room with temperature below 45°F (7°C)? Proper operation requires temperatures above 45°F (7°C).
    • Was cold rinse water used or was the load very wet? Expect longer drying times with items rinsed in cold water and with items that hold moisture.

    3. Once connection is made and dryer is in final location, remove corner posts and cardboard.
    4. Check the levelness of the dryer side-to-side, then front-to-back.
    5. If the dryer is not level, prop up the dryer using a wood block. Use a wrench to adjust the legs up or down and check again for levelness.

    As needed cleaning Laundry detergent and fabric softener residue can build up on the lint screen. This buildup can cause longer drying times for your clothes, or cause the dryer to stop before your load is completely dry. The screen is probably clogged if lint falls off the screen. Clean the lint screen with a nylon brush every 6 months, or more frequently, if it becomes clogged due to a residue buildup.
