1.2 Nameplate Information

Technical information for a specific unit appears on the unit nameplate, which is attached to the
indoor and/or the outdoor units.
See Figure 1-1: Typical Technical Data Nameplate.
The Nameplate includes the following information:

Class A – Standard. Class B – Desert conditions (<52º).
A/C power supply, for example: 380/3/50 = 380V/3 Phase/50 Hz.
Power factor for the unit.
Required fuse size, Amp.
All capacitor values according to the following sequence:
Compressor capacitor, Outdoor Motor capacitor, Indoor Motor capacitor
Quantity of refrigerant charge, Gr.
Type and catalog number of compressor.
Cooling and heating capacity in BTU/Hr. according to ISO 5151 standard.
Cooling and heating capacity in Watts according to ISO 5151 standard.
Power consumption in cooling and heating modes, watts.
Current consumption in cooling and heating modes, Amp.
Unit serial number. If blank – serial number is printed on Bar Code label.
