10C. Caller ID Log
If you have connected your HDDSR 605 or HDPVR 630 receiver to your residential telephone line and
subscribe to Caller ID through your local phone company, incoming calls will appear onscreen in real
time. You can access a log of your recent incoming calls by selecting "Call Log" from the Messages
section of the Menu Bar. If you prefer, you can disable Caller ID by accessing OPTIONS, "Preferences,"
expand "User Settings and Appearance" and set "Caller ID notifications" to "Disabled". If operating in
Multi-User mode, this setting can be modified on a per-user basis.

11. Settings Menu

By selecting "Settings Menu" from the Menu Bar, or pressing OPTIONS on your remote control, you can
access the Settings Menu Bar for your receiver. Note that certain settings may be unavailable and will
be greyed out depending on the features of your receiver model. For example, PVR-specific settings are
not available on the HDDSR 605 or 600. If set, an Owner PIN may be required to change certain settings.
11A. Preferences
If you're using Multi-User mode, most preferences are adjustable for each Profile. For example, one user
may prefer to have their on-screen text displayed in English while another user may prefer French.
Settings that are adjustable per user are indicated with the shield (
apply only to the active user whose name is indicated at the top of the screen.
Default Audio Language [English, French]:
