6. Resetting the factory default
settings
You can reset all parameters back to
the factory default settings in
Programming level 7. To do this you
must first call up the factory default
setting (Step 1) and then confirm the
factory default settings (Step 2). Once
you have confirmed the factory default
settings, all settings which have been
altered will be reset to the factory
defaults and you will need to re-enter
any changes as and when required.
Step 1- Activating the factory setting:
You must first call up Programming
level 7 as follows:
^ Switch off the machine with the Z
button.
^ Press and hold A and 6 at the
same time and, whilst doing so,
switch the machine on with the On
button Y.
The current programme status P... will
show in the display.
The p indicator light will come on.
^ Press the y button seven times. 7
will appear in the display
(Programming level 7).
Then call up the factory setting as
follows:
^ Press the z button repeatedly until
7.01 appears in the display.
^ Press A. The current setting will
appear in the display:
00
Factory default setting, or
PP
programmed value.
42
^ Press A repeatedly until 00 (factory
default setting) appears in the
display.
The factory default settings have now
been called up.
If you select the 00 setting by
mistake, you can still call up your
own customised settings again by
selecting the PP setting.
Only do the following if you have
selected the 00 setting by mistake:
^ Press A to switch between the 00
and pp settings.
Step 2 - Confirming the setting:
^ Press 6. SP will appear in the
display.
^ Press 6 again. All values which had
been changed have now been reset
to the factory default settings.
^ Switch off the machine with the Z
button.
All values which it is possible to change
are now reset to the factory default
settings.
If you changed the water hardness
level setting for the water softener,
this will also have reverted to the
factory default setting (3.4 mmol/l
(19 °d)). It will need to be reset to
suit the water hardness level in your
area.
Selecting the PP setting now will not
reinstate your own customised settings.
The factory default settings are not
activated if the PP setting is selected.
