SEARCH / PRESET buttonsIn DVD player mode, press to do fast
reverse or fast forward.
In tuner mode, press to select the preset station.

STEP / FM MODE button
Do the single stepping play while playing a DVD or VCD.
Switches monaural or stereo of FM stereo reception.

SLOW / MEMORY button
Do the slow-motion play while playing a DVD or VCD.

TITLE button
Displays the title menu when playing a DVD.

DISPLAY button
Switches the item displayed on the TV screen or/and on the
front panel display.

PAL / NTSC button
Changes the color system temporarily to match your TV
standard.

MUTING button
Mutes the sound.

AUDIO button
Selects the audio channels for sound.

SUBTITLE button
Selects a desired language for the subtitles while playing a
DVD.

GOTO button
Selects a start point to play.
Q
ZOOM button
Zoom in the playing pictures.

SLEEP button
Activates the sleep timer.

PRO LOGIC II MODE button
Press to select the Dolby Pro Logic Surround mode.
T
LISTENING button
Selects a listening mode you want.

PROGRAM button
Sets a program play.

OPEN / CLOSE button (L)
Opens or closes the disc tray.
W
SKIP / TUNING buttonsIn DVD player mode, press to select the
next/previous title, chapter or track.
In Tuner mode, press to change the tuning frequency.
Press and hold the button for more than 1 second to search
the station automatically.

Starts or pauses playing a disc.

STOP button (H)
Stops playing a disc and clears the stored program.

MENU / PBC button
Displays the menu or switch the PBC functions to on or off
when playing a VCD (Ver. 2.0).

DIRECTION buttons
Selects the items or settings.

ENTER button
Executes the items or settings.

RETURN button
Displays the root menu when playing a DVD.
Goes back to the PBC menu when playing a VCD.

VOLUME / ADJ buttons
Increase/decrease the master volume level or the selected
channel level.

SELECT button
Selects the audio channel to view or adjust its level.

EEPS button
Offers pop, rock, jazz, and classic modes. (EEPS stands for
Electronic Equalizer Preset System.)
g
LANGUAGE button
Selects a desired language for the audio when playing a DVD.
h
ANGLE button
Changes the angles while playing a DVD.
