15. Align the foot support tube with the
bearing cup.
16. Place (1) 1/2 flat washer onto (1)
1/2-13 hex head screw. Slide the screw
through the foot support tube and bearing
cups as shown in Figure 3a.
17. Place (1) 1/2 flat washer and then (1)
1/2-13 nylock nut onto the screw as shown
in Figure 3b.
18. Use the adjustable wrenches to tighten
the nut until the end of the screw protrudes
past the nylon portion of the nut. Make sure
the pulley spacers are fully seated in the
bearing cups.
19. Repeat Steps 12 thru 18 for the
lefthand side.
20. Identify the lefthand and righthand knuckle covers. Position (1) lefthand knuckle cover and
(1) righthand knuckle cover around the righthand lower swingarm assembly so that the holes
are aligned. Secure the covers to the assembly using (5) 10-32 pan head screws. Use the #2
phillips head screwdriver to tighten.
21. Repeat Step 20 for the lefthand side.
