8.6 Flue outlet (only stoves with oven) maintance
The smoke vent at the side of the oven must be cleaned at least once a year and any deposits of creosote or soot
removed.
Proceed as follows to carry this out:
Undo the fixing screws and remove the cast iron top plate.
Remove any deposits using a vacuum cleaner and a small cleaning rod.
Check the condition of the gasket on the cast iron plate, replacing it if necessary.
Replace the top plate and fixing screws.
8.7 Door assembly
Note the direction and the installation of the spring.
To remove the door, just slide the pins out of the hinge.
With the door of the ashpan, however, it can be useful to unscrew and remove the door together with its frame and
then to remove the hinge pin subsequently.

8.8 Replacing the glass

The door of the device is equipped with a ceramic glass window 4mm. thick, resistant to temperatures up to 750°C;
the glass can only be broken by a strong blow or improper use.
Do not slam the door or hit the glass. When closing the door make sure that there are not any pieces of wood or
other objects which could bang against the glass.
Should the glass break, only replace it with a spare part from the GRUPPO PIAZZETTA S.p.A.
Proceed as follows to replace the glass:
equip yourself with an appropriate pair of protective gloves
remove the door and lay it on a flat surface
unfasten the screws which can be seen on the inner side of the door
carefully remove the glass clips and the glass
if the fibre glass washer and sealing strip are worn, replace them
replace the glass and relocate the clips, refasten the screws taking care not to overtighten them
re-hang the door.
If other problems arise it is recommended that you speak to the local supplier.
