It may be necessav to assemble the chimney at
30" when passing through the ceiling area. Use
mropriale30" angledfireslg, spacer as shown in
Figures 45and46. Suppart the chimney at Roor or
ceiling penetration with a stabilizer il distance of
chimney belowceiling is I C Y (3m)ormore.Maintain
1' (25mm):' (See "Note) minimum air space to

Note: Remove the plastic proledive mating tom
the door's brass pieces before installation and first
use.
Make acareful inspection of all parts before install-
ing the doors to insure they are undamaged and
mmplete. Refer to Figure47 to identify all neces-
sary parts.

1.
Secure the eyebrow to the upper fireplace
lrame with three (3) sheet metal screws lrom the
hardware kit. See Figure 48 for screw locations.
Note: The upper and iower sears have been al-
tachedal the factory. The screen rods and screen
panels have also been instalid
Step 2. Loosen the three (3) madle screws each
side o f t h e f i r q l a c e p i n g (Figure48). Attach the
polished brass side flange and tighten all screws.
Repeat b r apposite side of the opening.

Step3.Removetheupperrightand kftsidescrews
lrom the side frame (Fgure 48). Anach the upper
trim bar to the upper seal with lour (4)black No. 8
Phillips pan head $crews from the hardware

two (2) upper m e w s just removed.
Step 4. Remove the lower right and kt side screws
lromthesideframes(Figure 48 ).Attachthelower
trim barto the lower seal with f ~ e

secure the ends olthe tower trim
bar with two (2) lower screws just removed. Assure
thecenterscrew isaligned and engages thecenter
'C' bracket.

Step 5. Anach the two (2) adjustment plates from
the hardware

to the upper trim bar with two (2)

selftawina No. 8 flat-toowasher head screws and
lockwashe& lrom the hardware idt (Figure 50 ).
Center screws over slot in adjustment piate and
tighten screws over pbtes on both sides.
