This installation manual will enable you to obtain a safe, effi cient
and dependable installation of your fi replace system. Please
read and understand these instructions before beginning your
installation.
Do not alter or modify the fi replace or its components under any
circumstances. Any modifi cation or alteration of the fi replace
system, including but not limited to the fi replace, chimney
components and accessories, may void the warranty, listings
and approvals of this system and could result in an unsafe and
potentially dangerous installation.
IMPORTANT! TO ASSURE PROPER ALIGNMENT OF GLASS
DOORS: INSTALL THIS FIREPLACE IN A SQUARE AND PLUMB
CONDITION, USING SHIMS AS NECESSARY AT SIDES AND/OR
BOTTOM.

    The BCD36MH model is fi tted with a blower and is available as an option for model BC36MH. The grate included properly positions the fi re and limits the amount of fuel. IF A REPLACEMENT GRATE IS NEEDED REPLACE THE GRATE WITH MODEL 87L20 ONLY.

    Blower Kit A Blower Kit model BFK36 is preinstalled, standard, on model BCD36MH and is available as an option for model BC36MH. The optional Blower Kit can be installed prior to or after installation of the fi replace. Note: These fi replace models are not supplied with an optional wall switch (FWSK) for fan operation.
