CHECKING THE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM
1. Immobilizer system indicator light does not
go on when the main switch is set to "ON".
1. Voltage
• Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the
meter assembly coupler as shown.
Tester positive probe → green/blue 1
Tester negative probe → black 2 2

• Set the main switch to "ON".
• Measure the voltage (12 V) between
green/blue and black 2 on the meter
assembly coupler.
• Is the voltage within specification?
YES
Replace the meter
assembly.
2. Voltage
• Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the
immobilizer unit coupler as shown.
Tester positive probe → red/green 1
Tester negative probe → black 2

• Is the voltage within specification?

immobilizer unit coupler as shown.

Tester negative probe → black 2

white and black on the immobilizer unit

• Is the voltage within specification?
