INTRODUCTION PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The OpenEye R-Series Video Management system is manufactured to provide optimized performance and usability. Built for network and hybrid video environments, the R-Series is designed to support the highly-intensive requirements of mega-pixel, multi-compression installations. The Radius system also improves user productivity and maximizes central management capabilities by providing support for multi-display environments.

GETTING STARTED IDENTIFYING INCLUDED COMPONENTS OpenEye recorders come with a mouse, keyboard and selected software and cables. Identify the following components to make sure everything has been properly included with the new recorder. If any of the following items are missing, contact the dealer to arrange a replacement.
KEYBOARD SETUP To attach the keyboard to the recorder, plug the end of the Keyboard into the keyboard PS/2 Port located on the back of the machine. The keyboard PS/2 Port can be identified by the purple color. Refer to the Rear Panel Connectors diagram for more information. MOUSE SETUP To attach the mouse to the recorder, plug the end of the mouse into the mouse PS/2 Port located on the back of the machine.
MONITOR SETUP The recorder has the following connections available to attach a monitor. To Digital Display DVI Output or use included adapter to connect to SVGA monitor HDMI Output To Digital Display You can connect up to two monitors on each video card for a maximum of four monitors. Attach the monitor or monitors to the rear of the recorder using the cable supplied by the monitor manufacturer.
