Figure 2-16 is an example showing ten daisy chained
VSW 2VGA A switchers. In the example, the output of the first
switcher in the chain (

Daisy chaining requires the setting of jumpers. The three
jumper tables in figure 2-16 indicate how the jumpers must be
set. Note that Table 1 is assigned to switchers

N Up to ten switchers can be daisy chained without any
degradation in picture quality. One 12 VDC power supply
is required for every group of five daisy chained switchers.
The power supply must be connected to the middle
switcher in a group of up to five switchers. In the example,
the power supplies are connected to switchers
N The installer should label each switcher in numerical order
so that its position in a daisy chain can be readily identified
at a future date.
In the example, the VSW I AAP interfaces output to
Input 1 of its attached switcher. Press the VSW I AAP's
Input select (Show Me) button to route the interface's
input to the projector.
Daisy chaining audio signals is similar to daisy chaining

video signals. In figure 2-16, audio is output from the
VSW I AAP to the switcher's Input 1 audio input. The
switcher's audio output is then input to the Input 2 audio
input of the next switcher in the daisy chain.
N The "show me" feature can be used without a VSW I AAP
control panel. Select input 1 using either the front panel
toggle switch (see item

N Daisy chaining uses all pins and wires of a standard VGA
cable. Not all VGA cables include all pins and wires.
