Operation

Apply power and the input signals. The video and audio
output connectors, including the Loop Thru Input 1 connector,
should output signals.

Input selection

There are two ways (if the switcher is in a stand-alone
configuration) or three ways (if the switcher is in a daisy chained
system) to select between input 1 and input 2. These methods
also work when daisy chaining to issue the "show me" signal to
the other switchers in the chain.
Push the Show Me button on the VSW I AAP to select
input 1 on the connected VSW 2VGA A switcher.
Toggle the front panel input select switch up (input 1) or
down (input 2).
Use the rear panel contact closure capability.

If you plan to create a daisy chain configuration, you must
configure the switchers before installing them in a rack or
furniture and making connections.
Daisy chaining VSW 2VGA A switchers requires you to check
and/or set internal jumpers in the switcher. Daisy chaining also
requires you to check the revision level of the switcher and use
that information to check and/or set jumpers in the VSW I AAP
control panels.
1.
If applicable, disconnect all power to the switcher and any
attached devices.
2.
Remove the two screws on each side of the switcher
(figure 2-13). Remove the four connector nuts on the front
panel of the switcher. Lift the top cover off of the switcher.
