4.7 System Setup

System Setup have sub-menu: General Setting, Time Setting, Output Setting, COM Setting,
PTZ Setting and Network Setting, the interface is as follows:

4.7.1 General Setting

Enter " Main Menu" -> " System Setup" -> " General" , the interface is the right figure above:
l Host Name: Can set your DVR host name.
l Open Remote Control Lock: Select and open the remote controller lock function, then you can lock the DVR by remote controller.
l Host id: If COM keyboard connect mult-DVRs at the same time by parallel connection, it will be as identify code to control and distinguish different hosts.
And also is the host number locked and unlocked by remote controller.
l Video standard: User can choose the systerm video format as PAL or NTSC.
l Resolution: Support 1024*768, 1280*1024, 1440*900, 1920*1080.
l Language: English.
l Display device: switch VGA/CVBS output.
l Auto Lock: System will enter locked status when lock time (1-10 minutes) out. System default set 3 minutes.
For example: Set the lock time as 3 minutes, if you do nothing operation on DVR in 3 minutes, the system will auto enter locked status.
l Choose device when booting up: choose and save, the next booting will prompt to choose VGA/CVBS output.
l Display power on wizard: If have selected and saved the button, the system will display " Do you enter the initial start wizard?" message after DVR restart.
You can quick set " Time setting" , " Network setting" , " Record parameter" , " Manual record" settings.
