[3] Network Setting on the PC
The network setting on the PC to be used for firmware updating must be set to DHCP or Auto IP.
For Microsoft Windows (Ex: Windows 7)
<STEP 1>
Open "Control Panel" -> "Network and Internet"
-> Network Connections.

Open "Network and Sharing Center."
(For Windows XP, go to <STEP 4>.

Open "Change adapter setting".

Open "Properties" of network device this unit connected.
(Right click on icon -> Property)
<STEP 5>
Select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on "Properties."
(For Windows XP, check the checkbox "Notify me when this
connection has limited or no connectivity.")
<STEP 6>
Select "Obtain an IP address automatically","Obtain DNS
server address automatically".
