6.2 Checking the control circuit of vertical sync pulse

Check the vertical sync signal on IC202
pin5 at TTL level.

OK
Proceed section 7 "Checking the resolution
change IC movement".
Failure point
1) No separate sync output signal from the host.(Check
the host.)
2) Video cable may have failed.
3) Printed wire broke between J201 pin 14 and IC202
pin5
4) L208 or R215 open.
5) IC202 failure.
