HEATER,
AIR coNDITtoNER AND VENTILATIoN

DUAL
PRESSURE SWITCH
(1
) Turn back the adapter valve handle all the way and insrall
it
O
to the high
pressure side service
valve.
(2)
With the
gauge manifold
high
pressure servrce
vatve
closed, connect
the
gauge manifold
low
pressure
side
charging hose to the adapter
valve.
(3) Tighten
the
adapter valve handle and open
the
service
valve.
(4)
lf
there
is
continuity between
the dual
pressure switch
terminals when the low pressure side pressure
is
at
level
of
dual pressure switch ON condition shown
to the
left, the
switch is functioning normally. rf not,
replace
the
switch.
AIR.THERMO SENSOR
AND
AIR-INLET SENSOR
(1)
Disconnect the sensor's connector at the evaporator
case.
and by using an ohmmeter,
measure
the
resistance. tf the
resistance is
within xloo/o of
valve
of the
characteristic
curve, the sensor is functioning normally.
(2) lf the sensor is
normal, there
ls
a
malfunction
of the
air
conditioner control unit, and it should be
replaced.
