OPERATION
o
The detonation sensor converts cylinder block vibration caused
by detonation into a
voltage
that
is
proportional
to
intensity of vibration and inputs it to the engine control unit, which then provides delay
control of the ignition timing
based
on this
signal.
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

detonation is caused while driving
with high
load,
following as well as the
detonation sensor may
be
responsible.

plug
