Step 1 (When indicating P0115-L:)
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Check the EOT sensor coupler for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then check the EOT sensor lead wire continuity.
3) Disconnect the EOT sensor coupler.
4) Check the continuity between B/Bl wire 1 and ground.
If the sound is not heard from the tester, the circuit condition is
OK.
- Tester knob indication: Continuity test (,)
5) Connect the EOT sensor coupler and turn the ignition switch
ON.
6) Measure the voltage between B/Bl wire 1 and ground.
" EOT sensor output voltage: 0.1 – 4.6 V
# 09900-25008: Multi-circuit tester set
09900-25009: Needle pointed probe set
* Tester knob indication: Voltage (+)
Are the continuity and voltage OK?
YES Go to Step 2.
• B/BI wire or sub harness (B/BI wire) shorted to
NO ground.
• If wire and sub harness are OK, go to Step 2.
7) After repairing the trouble, clear the DTC using SDS tool.
