Status, error and service messages
Various status, error and service messages appear in the touch panel of the
control panel. They provide information about the machine and help you
locate problems that may have occurred. Check the message that appears,
and then perform the necessary steps.
Status messages
Message
[Initializing]
[Restarting]
[Enter Power Save mode]
[Calibrating]
[Warming up]
[Check setting. Tray x]
[TWAIN/WSD connecting]

Cause
The machine was
turned on.
The machine is being
restarted.
The machine is enter-
ing normal operation
mode from Power
Save mode.
The image is being
adjusted.
The machine is warm-
ing up or AIDC is
being performed.
The paper specified
from the touch panel
was loaded in the
paper tray.
Computer scanning is
being performed with
TWAIN or a Web
Service.
