Installation
1 • Find a free SCSI address for the scanner by checking which addresses
are already in use.
This may be done by physically checking the units or by
using a computer utility program that scans the system for
SCSI units.
2 • Turn off all the equipment.
3 • Set the scanner to the desired SCSI address.
• When the scanner leaves the factory, the SCSI ID is set
at 4. If you want to change it, please use only the ad-
dresses from 1-6. Address number 7 is for setting the
CCD platform and lens platform in the transportation
position. Addresses 0, 8 and 9 are for service purposes
only and should not be used.
• To change the address, press the push switch above or
below the SCSI address window on the back of the
scanner until the desired number appears in the window.
