Using Record Plus

Make sure the receiver is set to Single Mode by looking at the Mode indicator light on the
front panel. See Switching Between Dual and Single Mode on page 15.

Press GUIDE to open the Program Guide. Find a current program you want to record now.

Highlight and press the SELECT button to tune the receiver to that program.

Press the RECORD button on your remote control.

Select OK to begin recording now or Options to customize your recording settings.

If you selected Options, see Tips on page 62 for more on your choices.

Choose another program to record, as described in Step 2.

Press the RECORD button on your remote control and select OK when the pop-up screen
displays. You are now recording two programs at the same time.

Press DVR twice on the remote control to access the My Recordings screen. You should
see the two programs that are recording indicated by the red dots next to the listings.

Select a program or event that you recorded earlier and start the playback.

You should now be watching a pre-recorded program or event while the receiver is record-
ing the other two events.

SING ECORD
When Record Plus is enabled, you decide which receiver output (TV1 or TV2) will usually
record your events as a default location. This feature is only available in the receiver's
Dual Mode. The following instructions describe how to enable or disable Record Plus.

Preferences, then Record Plus

Press the MENU button and select Preferences and then Record Plus.

Select Enable or Disable.

Select TV1 or TV2.

Select Done.
