NACTIVITY TANDBY
If your receiver is on for a preset period of time without any activity (for example, no
channel changes or use of DVR controls), the Inactivity Standby feature turns off the
receiver so that you'll always have the latest Program Guide and DISH On Demand (if
available on your model). To change the settings for this feature, complete the following:

Press the MENU button, select Preferences, and then Updates.

Select the hours of inactivity before the receiver goes into standby mode using the Up and
Down arrows.

Select Save.

Only DISH allows all the same live TV channels and everything saved to your DVR you
watch at home while on the go via your computer, smartphone or tablet. All you need is
Sling® Adapter and a broadband Internet connection to your ViP722k DVR.

Connect your receiver to broadband Internet. See Connecting a Broadband Internet
Connection on page 122. You can verify your connection on the Broadband screen in
Network Settings.

Plug in the Sling Adapter to a free USB port on your receiver.

Log into dishonline.com on your computer, or download and install our free DISH Remote
Access mobile app for your smartphone or tablet.
