The top panel of the EPS has 7 LEDs. Table 2-1 explains their functions during normal
operation.

Function During Normal Operation
Lights solid green to indicate that the unit has
power.
Lights solid yellow to indicate that the 10BASE-T
cable is swapped.
Lights solid green to indicate a working Ethernet
connection (either 10BASE-T or 10BASE2).
Lights green (blinks occasionally) to indicate the
unit is functioning properly.
Blinks yellow to indicate Ethernet activity.
Blinks yellow to indicate parallel port activity.
Blinks yellow to indicate serial port activity.
