Base station settings
Automatic firmware update
Your phone will check daily whether a newer firmware update is available via the Internet
on the Siemens configuration server. If this is the case, the message
will be displayed when the handset is in idle status, and the message key f flashes.

Press the message key.
Press the display key to confirm the prompt.

The firmware will be loaded onto your phone.
Please note:
– If you reply to the request with §No§, the display will not be repeated. The message
will only be shown again if a newer version of the firmware than the one rejected is avail-
available
able.
– You can deactivate the automatic version check via the Web configurator (page 145).
