Task #22 - Carburetor Synchronization
Service Interval and Recommended Maintenance Manual
NOTE: Perform this task with the engine at normal
operating temperature and transmission in neutral. Place
the motorcycle on a level surface.
Remove the fuel tank mounting bolt and carefully raise
the tank and support it above the frame and near
enough to attach a tube from the tank to the fuel inlet
tube.
Remove the air cleaner housing (see valve task).
Remove the rear cylinder head left-side fin.
Remove the vacuum plugs and washers from the
cylinder head intake ports.
Connect the vacuum gauge and adapters.
