Ping – the quick test of a TCP/IP con-
nection
To test a TCP/IP connection, simply send a
ping from your computer to a computer in
the remote network. Details on the ping
command are available from the documen-
tation for your operating system.
IPX connections can be tested by searching
for a remote Novell server. NetBIOS connec-
tions can be tested by searching a computer
in the remote Windows workgroup.

1-Click-VPN for networks (site-to- site)
The site-to-site-to-site connectivity of networks is now very simple with the
help of the 1-Click-VPN wizard. It is even possible to simultaneously couple
multiple routers to a central network.
