Note on VAIO Update
To maximize enjoyment of your new Sony® VAIO® PC, it is
recommended that you run the VAIO Update program at your
earliest convenience to download the latest updates for your
computer. These updates will ensure that you enjoy improved PC
performance and usage in addition to optimal Blu-ray Disc media
and DVD playback (Internet connection required) .

1 Right-click the VAIO Update icon in the Windows® Notification
Area.
2 Select Go to VAIO Web Support.
Audio
For the best experience and output to an audio system, do the
following:
• With the S/PDIF output, use a high-quality

sound speakers.
