3.1 Basic Setting

This page includes all the fundamental and basic parameters. After
changing any parameters, you have to apply and restart the device and then
the new settings can be effective.
Radio Mode Click Enable check box and start to set up the
Wireless LAN Interface and start using wireless network.
Wlan Hardware Here shows the hardware status of WLAN.
Wlan mode There are three type of mode to choose from: AP, Bridge
(WDS), and Repeater (WDS). Please choose the mode according to the
real environment.
Wlan type There are two types of network type, including Ad-hoc
and Infra(structure) .
Alias Name You can give BLW-HPMM-U Wireless Router a unique
name for them to be easily distinguished from other APs. It can be 32
alphanumeric characters.
SSID Every SSID is unique in the WLAN (SSID can be 16-digit
ASCII characters and case-sensitive). SSID can prevent two nearby
WLAN from combining to be one. You can give BLW-HPMM-U an
SSID, and only whose SSID is the same with it can connect with it.
