to comply with Section 422-20 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/
NFPA 70. The disconnecting means must be readily accessible to
the hot tub's occupant but installed at least 5 feet (1.5m) from hot
tub water.
5. The electrical circuit supplied for the hot tub must include a suitable
ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) as required by NEC Article
680-42.
6. To gain access to the hot tub's power terminal block, remove the
four screws securing the center cabinet panel on the side of the
hot tub under the controls. Then remove the four control box door
screws and door (Figure-C, page 12).
7. Select the power supply entrance you want to use (Figures A-B,
page 11) and remove the short cabinet panel from the front of the
hot tub to allow you to feed the cable through to the control box.
Install the cable with connector through the large opening provided
in the bottom of the control box.
8. Connect wires, color to color, on terminal blocks TB1 and TB3 (Fig-
ure-D, page 12). TIGHTEN SECURELY! All wires must be hooked
up securely or damage could result.
9. Install control box door and reinstall the cabinet side panels.
