TEXT TAFS (USA AND CANADA)

Tap on the CHOOSE PRODUCT soft key on the Weather Main page
and select Text TAFs from the SELECT WX PRODUCT box.
A TAF is a statement of expected meteorological conditions at an
airport during a specified period of time.
A TAF contains elements in the following order:

Type of report
•
ICAO station identifier
•
Date and time of issue
•
Date and time valid
•
Wind
•
Visibility
•
Weather phenomena
•
Sky conditions
•
Wind shear (as required)
•
Forecast weather change indicator
