1 - TM-D1000 Operations Manual

Congratulations on your purchase of the TM-D1000.
This high-quality digital mixing console allows you
to produce crystal-clear multitrack recordings and to
mix them to a digital stereo mastering machine.
We do not expect you to read the Reference Manual
from cover to cover, but if you take the time to read
through this Operations Manual, this will be repaid
in terms of future familiarity with the unit.
Since the TM-D1000 is a complex unit, with many
software features that are not immediately visible
from the front panel, we suggest, however, that you
make yourself familiar with at least the contents of
the main reference manual, so that you can find the
answers you need when you have questions.

After setting up my TM-D1000, everything seems to work well but I can't get no sound output in my speakers. What do I have to do since my screen still on the setup mode. I'm sure how to exit the setup mode to start using the mixer.

To exit setup mode on the Tascam TM-D1000 mixer, press the EXIT button. If you were configuring settings and do not want to save changes, press the ESCAPE key instead of ENTER when prompted.

To get sound output, ensure that:
1. The correct digital output routing is set (refer to Digital Out A:B settings).
2. The faders are raised for the channels you want to hear.
3. The monitor level is adjusted properly.
4. The mixer is in the correct mode (REC or MIX) based on your needs.
