LCD Care

The LCD screen is verly delicate and require careful handling. Pay attention to the following precautions:

• When not in use, keep the LCD display panel closed to prevent dust accumulation.

• Do not use chemical cleaners on the screen, wipe only with a dry cloth or tissue.

• Do not put your fingers or any objects directly on the screen.

• Do not press on, or lay any objects on the machine when it is closed.

With a monitor or TV set connected, you can use the toggle hot key to switch the display output. Two

modes are available as below:

• Simultaneous display of both LCD and external monitor.

• TV video output to TV set or VCR. (in NTSC or PAL/SECAM)

For details on connecting an external display, please refer to the illustration in Chapter 6.

To keep the compatibility with the DOS applications including the BIOS Setup screen, the LCD dis-

play supports VGA 640 x 480 resolution display shown as below :
