Troubleshooting
Be sure to turn off power switch before connect or disconnect connector,
Caution
or parts damage may be occurred.
Turn OFF the power supply
once and then ON again.
Return to normal?
While in monitor mode, identify an electronic expansion valve
subject to the Malfunction Code "
refer to information on P.106~P.107.)
When Confirmation of malfunction 4 is set as shown below:

Is the connector for the
electronic expansion valve
of the PCB concerned
properly connected?
Is the resistance of the
electronic expansion
valve coil normal?
(See *1)
*1: Procedure for checking the electronic expansion valve for
the drive unit coil.
Disconnect the electronic expansion valve connector (X7A)
from the PCB, and then make measurement of resistance
and check for continuity between the connector pins to make
judgement.

(1) No continuity between Pins (1) and (2)
(2) Approx. 300 Ω resistance between Pins (1) and (3)
(3) Approx. 150 Ω resistance between Pins (1) and (5)

(5) Approx. 150 Ω resistance between Pins (2) and (6)

Troubleshooting by Remote Controller
External factor other than
malfunction (for example,
noise etc.)
Properly and securely
connect the connector.
Replace the electronic
expansion valve coil
concerned.
Replace the BS unit PCB.
