NOTE
The Printer Controller and the Network Interface Card must be installed in order to
use the Parallel Interface Kit.

1. Remove the rear cover. Remove the 3
screws at the back of the copier, and then
remove the rear cover. (By slightly opening
the document cover and pressing down on
the ADF angle-detecting lever at the top of
the rear cover, the rear cover can be more
easily removed.)
2. Remove the I/ F CLAN circuit board cover.
• Disconnect the 2 cable connectors.
• Remove the 2 cables from the cable
clamp.
• Remove the I/ F CLAN circuit board cover.
(6 screws)

3. Remove the back panel. (13 screws) (When
removing the panel, slightly lift it up.)
4. Remove the reinforcing plate. (4 screws)
5. Using nippers, cut out the knockout plate for
the parallel port.
