Trimming Adjustments and Control Tests
It is important that the control surfaces of your aeroplane are correctly set for it to fly correctly.
Warning: Keep everything clear of the propeller before starting the tests so you do not damage any property or harm anyone.
Making Trim Adjustments to the Horizontal Stabiliser & Rudder
1.
Make sure the throttle stick is in the "off" position by pulling it fully back.
2.
Turn on the transmitter and check the LED power lights come on.
3.
Set the elevator & rudder trim levers to the centre.
4.
Turn on the aeroplane making sure the battery is plugged in and/or turned on.
5.
The control surfaces should move as the control sticks are moved.
6.
Make certain the elevator is set to neutral and is flat with the horizontal stabiliser. Do this by removing the clevis from the control horn and
turning it on the threaded pushrod as needed. Once the adjustment is made, re-attach the clevis.
7.
Make certain the rudder is set to neutral and is flat with the tail fin. Do this by removing the clevis from the control horn and turning it on
the threaded pushrod as needed. Once the adjustment is made, re-attach the clevis.
8.
If for any reason the controls move in opposite directions to those explained in the transmitter functioning then change the position of the
relevant reverse switch on the transmitter.

2.
Press the red motor power switch button.
3.

4.
When finished with the motor test, switch off the aeroplane before disconnecting the battery and then turn off the transmitter. Follow this
step each time you need to turn the aeroplane off.

If for any reason the motor operates on full power with the control stick pulled backwards and is off in the forward position then switch off
the power and change the position of the relevant reverse switch on the transmitter. Then re-test as above
