Installing the Top Cover

Install the top cover with the display assembly according to the following procedures and
Figures 4-12, 4-13.
1. Seat the top cover, adjusting its position.
2. Secure the following 14 latches on the top cover, in that order:
- Four Left latches
- Four right latches
- Four front latches
- Two bottom latches
3. Connect the touch pad board flat cables to CN8 on the system board.
4. Connect the power button board cable to CN1 on the system board.
5. Connect the switch board flat cable to CN2 on the system board.
6. Connect the speaker cable to CN9 on the system board.
Turn the computer upside down and secure it with the following 23 screws:
- Eighteen M2.5x7 black flat head screws and three M2x4 black flat head screws.
