    This section describes the types of writable CD/DVD discs. Check the specifications for your drive to for the type of discs it can write. Use TOSHIBA Disc Creator to write compact discs. Refer to Chapter 4, Operating Basics CD-R discs can be written only once. The recorded data cannot be erased or changed.

    Satellite L350/Satellite Pro L350 series Data save in hibernation mode When you turn off the power in hibernation mode, the computer takes a moment to save current memory data to the hard disk. During this time, the Disk indicator will light. After you turn off the computer and memory is saved to the hard disk, turn off the power to any peripheral devices.

    Satellite L350/Satellite Pro L350 series Chapter 4 Operating Basics This chapter gives information on basic operations including using the touchpad, optical disc drives, Audio/Video controls, the web camera, the microphone, wireless communication and LAN. It also provides tips on caring for your computer, and CD/DVDs. Using the touchpad To use the touchpad, simply touch and move your finger tip across it in the direction you want the on-screen pointer to go.

    Master Volume panel. Using the TOSHIBA Face Recognition TOSHIBA Face Recognition uses a face verification library to verify the face data of users when they log in to Windows. The user can thus avoid having to enter a password or the like, which makes the login process easier.
