2–Preparation
To end the USB connection, first follow the
procedures for your computer to disconnect the
DR-1 and then remove the USB cable.
See the computer manual for how to close the
connection on the computer.

Preparation for monitoring

Connect headphones or a monitoring system
(speakers with built-in amplifiers, stereo system,
etc.) to the
/LINE OUT

stereo systems, etc.
CAUTION
Use headphones to monitor when you are recording
with a microphone. If you use speakers to monitor,
the sound output from the speakers may also
be recorded, causing a poor recording and even
feedback.
