Connecting monitoring equipment

To listen with headphones, connect them to the PHONES jack.
Headphones
To listen with an external monitoring system (powered monitor
speakers or an amplifier and speakers), connect it to the LINE
OUT jack on the right side of the unit.

Use the PHONES volume control to adjust the volume output
from the PHONES jack.

1. On the
OUTPUT LEVEL
(see "Menu operation procedures" on page 12)
2. Set the volume output from the
Range:
-24dB
+42dB
3. When finished, press the MENU button to return to the
Home Screen.
CAUTION
Hardware gain switching occurs at 3 points: between 0 dB
and 1 dB, between 12 dB and 13 dB, and between 30 dB and
31 dB. A pop-up message will appear before gain switching.
You can continue turning the DATA dial to change the
setting, but a brief gap will occur in the output audio during
gain switching.

3. When finished, press the MENU button to return to the
Home Screen.
CAUTION
