Installation WARNING! Hard drives and storage enclosures require careful handling, especially when being transported. If you are not careful with your hard disk, lost data may result. Always handle your hard drive and storage device with caution. Be sure that you are properly grounded by wearing an anti-static strap when handling computer components or discharge yourself of any static electricity build-up by touching a large grounded metal surface (such as the computer case) for several seconds. - Page 7 3. With the hard drive connected to the front panel, turn the drive over to expose it’s base. Fasten the hard drive to the front panel rails on both sides, using the screws provided (2): 4. Fasten the front panel (with drive attached) to the body of the Enclosure; be cautious that the drive and front panel are properly aligned with the body of the Enclosure, to prevent damage to the LEDs.

7. Once the drive has been secured within the Enclosure, connect the DC 12V power adapter to the power adapter port. Connect the remaining end of the power adapter to an available power outlet. 8. Connect the USB A-B cable to the USB B port on the rear panel of the Enclosure, then connect the remaining end of the cable to the host computer. -
