D-Link DNS-346 USER'S MANUAL
The DNS-346 is equipped with a built in FTP Server. The server is easy to configure and allows users
access to important data whether they are on the local network or at a remote location. The FTP server
can be configured to allow user access to specific directories, and will allow up to 10 users to access
the DNS-346 at a time.
Configure the FTP Server parameters as described below:
FTP Server:
Use the radio buttons to enable or disable the FTP Server.
Max User:
Sets the maximum amount of users that can connect to the FTP
server.
Idle Time:
Sets the amount of time a user can remain idle before being
disconnected.
Port:
Sets the FTP port. Default is 21.
Flow Control:
Allows you to limit the amount of bandwidth available for each
user.
Client Language:
Most standard FTP clients like Windows FTP, only support
Western European codepage when transferring files. Support has
been added for non standard FTP clients that are capable of
supporting these character sets.
Click on the Save Settings button to accept these changes.
Click on the Don't Save Settings button to discard these
changes.
NOTE: To be able to use this function, the FTP port must be set. The default option is port 21.
