D-Link DNS-346 USER'S MANUAL
The DNS-346 supports LLTD. LLTD stands for Link Layer Topology Discovery and is used to discover
network devices by the Network Map application that is included in Windows Vista.
LLTD Settings:
Click the Enable or Disable radio button to enable or disable the
DNS-346 LLTD service.
SNMP or (Simple Network Management Protocol) is used in network management systems to monitor
network-attached devices for conditions that warrant administrative attention.
SNMP allows the DNS-346 to enable or disable the SNMP function, set the community of SNMP, and
the destination of traps / notifications.
SNMP:
Enable or disable SNMP support.
SNMP Community:
Community name of NAS, default is "public".
Notification:
Enable or disable trap support.
Notification Community:
The community name of the destination of trap.
Notification IP:
The IP of the destination of trap.
