D-Link DNS-346 USER'S MANUAL
The DNS-346 Web UI defaults to the Setup page. The main categories for configuration are located in the menu tabs at the top of the page. The user is able to log out of the
device from the Setup, Advanced, Maintenance and Status menus by clicking on the Logout link. The categories available for configuration include:
 Setup Section - Contains the DNS-346 setup wizard, LAN setup, time and date settings and device settings.
 Advanced Section - Allows the DNS-346 administrator to configure RAID options, iSCSI target settings, users, groups of users, their storage quotas and the Network
Access Rights of the user's setup on the DNS-346. The FTP Server, DHCP server, SNMP, NFS Server,Remote Backup and VLAN settings are also contained here.
 Maintenance Section - Allows the DNS-346 administrator to reset the admin password, perform system maintenance tasks, carry out firmware upgrades, configure E-
mail alerts, configure power management options, configure Dynamic DNS, change the LCD display settings and get diagnostic information about the installed hard
disks.
 Status Section - Shows current information about the LAN configuration, device information, printer information, information about the hard drives installed in the
DNS-346 and iSCSI Session Information.
 Support Section - Contains the DNS-346 help files.
These pages and their configuration options will be discussed in detail in the following pages of this manual.
NOTE: After logging in to the DNS-346 for the first time it is recommended to add a password to the admin account.
