D-Link DNS-346 USER'S MANUAL
The time configuration option allows the user to configure, update, and maintain the correct time on
the internal system clock. In this section the user can set the time zone that are in, and set the NTP
(Network Time Protocol) Server in order to periodically update the system time from the NTP Server.
The user can also use the computer's time as the system time.
Time Zone:
Choose the Time Zone of where you are located from the drop-
down menu.
NTP Server:
Click the Enable radio button under NTP Server to enable NTP.
Network Time Protocol (NTP) synchronizes the DNS-346 with an
Internet time server.
Type the URL of the NTP Server in the NTP Server box or use the
drop-down menu to choose one of the two time servers that D-
Link provides for your convenience.
Set the Date and Time
To set the date and time manually, ensure that the NTP Server is
Manually:
disabled and set the date and time using the drop-down menus.
Click on the Save Settings button to accept these changes.
Click on the Don't Save Settings button to discard these
changes.
