12VDC Trigger In/Out
Zone 12VDC Trigger Outputs
Zone 12VDC Triggers are located directly under
the UNO Keypad Ports. The 12VDC Trigger is
engaged when the corresponding zone is turned
on and disengaged when the zone is turned off.
The trigger can be used to engage any 12VDC
trigger device or component such as the
38
Russound DPA-1.2 amplifier. The connections for
the trigger outputs are made using a two-con-
ductor cable with 1/8" male mini-plug jacks at
each end. The tip is positive (+) and sleeve is
negative (-).
R-NET Link In and Link Out
The R-NET Link In and Link Out is used to con-
nect two or more CAV6.6 controllers. The con-
nection is made using a CAT-5 patch cable from
the Link Out of the master CAV6.6 and into the
Link In of the next CAV6.6. Along with R-NET
data signals, the R-NET Link In and Link Out jack
passes the six source IR signals. These are only
for source-specific IR remote repeating, not
codes initiated from the controller's internal IR
library. The CAT-5 patch cable should not
exceed 18 inches in length to avoid potential
cross-talk between the source-specific IR repeat-
ing signal lines.

MAKING CONNECTIONS
Note: If two or more CAV6.6 controllers will be
connected using the R-NET Link In and Link Out
ports, each controller must have a unique
Controller ID (see Controller Setup - Flow
Chart on page 65) prior to being connected
through the R-NET ports. The Controller ID
assignment must be performed during the
Controller Setup section of the Installation menu.
The R-NET Link In and Link Out is also used to
connect the CAV6.6 to other Russound products
with R-NET.
