The BeoSound 9000 CD player is
operated from a distance via the
Beo4 remote control.
The Beo4 remote control operates all
the primary functions in the
BeoSound 9000 such as turning on
the radio or the CD player, changing
radio stations, CD tracks or CDs. It
also selects stations or CDs to be
played, adjusts sound functions,
pauses playback and fi nally switches
to stand-by.
The Beo4 remote control enables you
to select specifi c tracks on CDs, select
sequences of specifi c discs to be
played, search forward and backward
on CDs, switch on the random order
playback and edited order playback
functions as well as it selects extra
equipment.
*NOTE! In order to display the relevant extra
buttons on the Beo4, you must add them to the
Beo4 list of functions. Please refer to Beo4's own
User's Guide for information about how to add
extra buttons to the Beo4.

display, to activate the function, and press
switch it off when the function is displayed
0 – 9 Use the number buttons to key in a radio station
number or CD number. To select a track, press LIST
until TRACK is shown in the display*, then use the
number buttons to key in the track number

Press to change to the previous or following CD
STOP Press to pause playback any time
GO Press to resume playback – The GO button equals
OK on the BeoSound 9000 operation panel
LIST Press to display extra buttons or functions*, e.g.
RANDOM
GO Press to activate the source or function in the
Beo4 display

To turn the volume up or down, press in the

middle to mute speakers, press again to recall
sound
